Mrs. Clara Ashbrook, 80, of 3542 Ferndale, Danville, died at 6:l2 p.m. yesterday (July 16, 1969) at Lake View Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient there five days. Born Oct. 22, 1888, in Kiowa, Kan., she was married in 1907 at Sullivan to Art Ashbrook, who died. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Sullivan. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Sanders of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, J. W. Ashbrook of Rossville and David of Bloomington; a sister, Mrs. Florence Thompson of Astabula, Ohio; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Young Funeral Home in Rossville. The Rev. Paul Bingham will officiate. Burial will be in Mann's Chapel Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family has requested that memorials be in the form of donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. - jlr
